Did you file a form at USCIS Lockbox and have not received a receipt notice? You are not alone. On December 15, 2020, USCIS issued a stakeholder message as a result in the delays in providing a timely receipt notice to applicants who filed an application with the service.
USCIS, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services published a stakeholder brief indicating a significant increase in filings in the last several weeks and as a result of the Coronavirus, there is facility capacity restrictions and it is causing "significant delays for processing receipt notices" for forms and application filed with the USCIS lockbox locations.
Once you have properly filed your form, USCIS will send a receipt notice to the mailing address provided by you on the form, normally within 30 days.
