TAX SEASON IS HERE, HAPPY FILING! 🌿💰🤑💸💵

It is Tax Season once again, the IRS, Internal Revenue Service has begin accepting tax return applications effective Friday, February 12, 2021. 

Many immigrants, including refugees and asylees, as well as asylum seeker, are obliged to pay U.S. taxes, or at least to file a tax return. 

U.S. tax laws are complicated. You should speak with a qualified tax professional for guidance specific to your particular situation. 

Non-profit organizations/agencies may be able to help you with your tax return at low cost or for free. 

Unemployment Benefits ARE TAXABLE. However, tax withholding is typically voluntary and many people who lost jobs either didn't now their UNEMPLOYMENT CHEQUES would be taxed, or they decided against withholding. 

Relief cheques such as the $1,200.00 sent out last year, are NOT taxable.
